The Made From Scratch Life introduces the reader to a more natural way of living, which also can benefit the reader’s wallet as well. Within its pages is covered many areas of gardening, harvesting, preserving, cooking, natural alternatives to cleaning, facial scrubs, natural choices for commonly purchased items, livestock information, suggestions for seasonal traditions, and much more. All throughout the reader will discover various recipes. Accompanying all of this valuable information, experience, and suggestions is Biblical scripture verses and handy tips relating to many areas.  Once the reader has reached the end of the book’s pages, the author provides directions to more available information on going natural.

The Made From Scratch Life held a vast amount more of information and tidbits than I first expected. This will be cherished as one of my “go-to” references for all that is natural. I prefer natural over chemicals and commercially produced products whenever possible. I recommend The Made From Scratch Life for all other readers who are driven towards wanting a more natural way of approaching life’s tasks.
