Street God is one man’s journey through life with a goal of becoming a street god. In the beginning of Street God the author’s struggles, trials, and errors are shown with great detail and explanation. In the second half of Street God, the tables turn and there is a whole new set of circumstances laid out for the author. Street God provides a man’s real life experience of this world, how he made it through each situation and season, and how his life was drastically changed. As this happened for this one man, it can happen for all people regardless of where they come from or are going to.
Wow! What a true-life story! As I started out reading Street God, I was interested but not glued to the pages. [possibly due to the fact that the first half brought memories of my own past life, which I would rather erase or keep buried in the past] Half-way through Street God, I was hooked, glued, and focused on each page [which is not easy to do when you have a 1-year old son tugging at ya]. I love the many times which God used Dimas and the different ways in which He blessed him and showed up in his life. Truly Awesome!!! I felt for him also when he was swayed by the deceivers of this world. By the end of Street God I became fully inspired for God to use me and to serve Him in whatever way He would have me serve Him. I would like to completely rededicate my life over to serving Jesus.
I highly recommend this overpowering true-life story, Street God, to all readers!
