With great detail and gentle passion, Ken Gire delicately weaves Biblical events, emotions, and thoughts into a moving depiction of the life of Christ. Join Jesus as He travels with His disciples through the Galilean countryside. Press through the throngs at the temple in Jerusalem. Marvel at the Savior’s challenging words, miraculous authority, and tender compassion. With moving depictions of Jesus’ humanity and divinity, Moments with the Savior invites readers into a more intimate relationship with Jesus.

Moments with the Savior is a devotional which explores every moment of Jesus. It takes the reader on a journey from the birth of Jesus, His childhood, and throughout His ministry. Each devotion starts out with a scripture verse directly linked to Jesus. Directly following each scripture verse is a point of meditation as Moments with the Savior intricately explores that time and what was happening as well as conversations that could have taken place and emotions that could have been possible. Meditation allows the mind to place the reader in that specific time and moment. Following the meditation is a prayer starter; not a completed prayer, but an open-ended prayer which gives the inspiration to continue on in a conversation with the Lord.

I Love the way in which Moments with the Savior is written. It has given me a new perspective on Jesus and what is talked about Him in God’s Word. It has given me a deeper understanding concerning Jesus and our purpose here on earth. I highly recommend Moments with the Savior!
