Moments & Days brings a deeper understanding and awareness of what the festivals and Holy days of the Bible were really about and the differences between how they are observed by the Jewish and Christian groups. Bringing understanding and awareness of the Holy days are done through looking at Biblical history and culture, actual Scripture, Scripture references, Jewish traditions, Christian traditions, and examples from today.
Moments & Days is divided into two sections. The first section covers the Jewish feasts and the second section covers the Christian calendar. The chapter covering the Sabbath proves to be quite interesting and informative. I have heard many variations on what the Sabbath means to us today and how we were intended to observe it. It is refreshing to find the text which draws it out and gives a good description with supporting references.
I found Moments & Days to be quite interesting, informative, and an easy to read (the type of book that propels you along, that causes you to dive into chapter after chapter without ceasing). I would consider Moments & Days to be a great reference book for Biblical festivals and history. I recommend Moments & Days to all readers.
