It Will Be Okay: Trusting God Through Fear and Change
By Lysa TerKeurst / Thomas Nelson

Growing up brings change, and change triggers fears. How do kids learn that in the_140_245_Book.1440.cover midst of these uncomfortable times, they don’t have to be afraid? Little Seed and Little Fox are facing fears, changes, and brand new things. And they don’t like it one bit! Through this unlikely friendship, children will discover that no matter how new or fearful their circumstances, God is always with them. Just as Little Seed and Little Fox learn to trust that the Farmer is good and kind, children will also learn to trust God.

It Will Be Okay is a children’s book, recommended for ages 4-8, which tells of the relationship between a fox, a seed, and a good farmer. The seed is afraid to leave the comfort of the seed packet, the fox is afraid of being alone in the dark, and the good farmer watches over them, even when they do not realize he is watching them. The seed and fox represent us when we are afraid and worrying. The good and kind farmer represents God and how he takes care of us, knowing what is best for us (even when we do not realize it).

I loved It Will Be Okay! What an excellent story and lesson! The illustrations were very well done with lots of color, realism, and imagination. The story itself was wonderful and really taught the lessons of change, not to worry or be afraid, and trust. The beginning of the book starts off with Bible verses to memorize, relating to the story’s content.

I highly recommend It Will Be Okay to all ages!!!
