I Can is a children’s hardcover book intended for ages 3 through 7. By using the verse from Philippians 4:13, it shows children what they can do from jumping to everything with the strength that is given to them from Christ. As the book progresses it adds a word or two to the verse; I can, I can do, I can do everything, I can do everything through Christ…and so on…after each word or two is added it gives a list relating to the new phrase and part of the verse that is visible. The illustrations have a farm theme to them and are full of color and action.
By drawing the Philippians 4:13 verse out bit-by-bit, it creates a greater understanding to a well-known verse. Children are reminded of all the things they can do, who Christ is, what He gives to them, who they are, and how Christ strengthens them.
