Easter Stories and Prayers
By Kathleen Long Bostrom / Tyndale Kids
Celebrate the true meaning of Easter with your children. This special edition of Little Blessings books includes four books in one: Who is Jesus? Why is there a Cross? What about Heaven? and What is Prayer?. Each title is designed to help kids learn more about Jesus and his sacrifice for us. This volume includes a special note from the author on how to help kids understand the true meaning of Easter. Full-color art of the adorable characters draws kids in an d makes them want to hear the stories over and over again. Scripture references support each answer to the question so parents can study more.
Easter Stories and Prayers is a 128 page hardcover book designed for children up to 5 years old.

Easter Stories and Prayers is a children’s book included within the “Little Blessings” series of books. This particular book in the series focuses on the cross and what it means, who Jesus was and why he came to earth as one of us, what is prayer and how to pray, and where and what is heaven. By including all of these subjects in one book it provides a well-rounded view of Jesus and what the Easter event means.
The majority of pages contain 1-2 paragraphs written in a rhyming style. The rhyming style helps learning and developmental reading in young readers. The words used are simple and can be used for beginning readers. For those children who cannot yet read, it provides for a traditional Easter story or bedtime book.
In the sections where the answers are given for the prior questions, scripture verse references are listed at the top of the page. In this way, all answers can be tracked back to the words of God in the Bible.
Amazing illustrations, which all young readers can relate to, are printed upon smooth photo-like pages. The texture of the pages is made of a higher value stock then regular paper pages.
Easter Stories and Prayers has surpassed my expectations. After reading through the stories I am now interested in obtaining the rest of the books in the “Little Blessings” series of books.
I recommend Easter Stories and Prayers to all young readers and parents of future young readers.
