Baa! Oink! Moo! God Made the Animals is a board book written for young readers. The suggested age is for children between the ages of 4 and 8 years of age. The narrative style is in the form of a dialogue between mom and son. As the child sees each different animal and hears each animal sound, they learn that they were all created and made uniquely by only one creator, God.
I like how each animal is given a brief description of a part of itself and its distinct sound. It adds to a child’s education in learning what sounds and characteristics go with which animal. In addition, there is a confirmation of God being the one who made them all; cows, pigs, sheep, doves, horses, ducks, and much more.
