A Life of Miracles

A Life of Miracles: What One Ordinary Family Gained When They Gave Up Everything to Follow God
By Don Schulze / Tyndale House

How does an ordinary life become extraordinary? For evangelist and church planter Schulze, the turning point was a battlefield prayer. Surrounded by exploding rockets, he promised to follow God unreservedly if his life was spared. When God answered, Schulze – and his family – made good on that vow! A riveting tale of global travels, miraculous healings, and God’s faithfulness.

Disclosure of Material Connection: I received this book free from the publisher through Tyndale House book review bloggers program. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own. I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255 : “Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising.”

A Life of Miracles starts out by showing God was already working in the life of Don Schulze from an early age. Each chapter covers a specific era of time where God’s direction, influence, and power were experienced in Don’s life. These experiences were not only experienced by Don alone, but other members in the family as well. It also demonstrates the different ways in which God communicates with us. Don has also incorporated scripture into the ending of each chapter meditation, found at the end of all chapters.

I found A Life of Miracles to be exactly what the title claims it to be, a life full of various miracles. Each experience, trial, and victory gave me encouragement in my own faith and ways to pray for God’s direction in my own life. It also shows how we, who believe in Jesus, are all equipped with the same power that has been given to all believers and we do not have to hold a specific title to obtain and utilize this power.

I highly recommend A Life of Miracles for all to read and experience!
