365 Pocket Prayers for Mothers is a book written to encourage, inspire, and provide sample prayers for mothers to pray on a daily basis or when a specific situation calls for that specific topic of prayer. Each entry includes a prayer focusing on the life of a mother, their child or children, or both. The entries end with a scripture verse which is related to the topic of prayer, adding support to the prayer and encouragement to the reader. The prayers are focused on past, present, and future topics in the life of a mother and child. Some of the prayers are directed towards the mother, while others are directed toward the child (children) or both mother and child (children). The Pocket Prayer book comes wrapped in a leather like cover with a bird illustration on the front. In addition to the elegant cover, the book also provides a ribbon as a place keeper.
365 Pocket Prayers for Mothers can be used as a daily devotional, praying a prayer each day of the year. Another way it can be used is a prayer reference for specific situations and events which occur in a mother’s life. As for myself, I would prefer to use this book as both a prayer devotional and a resource for specific topical prayers. In my opinion this book is a very well constructed book for mothers of all stages in a child’s life. It is well done in its appearance and in its content.
I would highly recommend 365 Pocket Prayers for Mothers to all mothers and parents of children.
